Re: Bonjour depuis l'Angleterre! My introduction
Ven 31 Aoû 2018, 16:30
"Inforespace" (Belgium) PDFs : Patrick Ferryn has now kindly confirmed that I have his permission to upload full scans of "Inforespace".
Some of you may recall that back in 2014 I shared about 1,000 pages of scans of "Inforespace" helpfully provided to me by a researcher using the pseudonym "Anakin Neo", with the permission of Patrick Ferryn - founding member of SOBEPS. (I see that from the post above that Anakin is a member of this forum...).
Shortly after I created a folder a couple of days ago for "Inforespace" on the AFU's website (and before I even mentioned that folder to anyone or asked for any scans...), Igor Kalytyuk promptly provided me with scans of about 50 complete issues of Inforespace. Peter EL Baze also provided me yesterday with scans of many issues of Inforespace (partially overlapping with the scans done by Igor).
I have combined those collections (and used some of the fuller extracts done by Anakin Neo where complete scans are not available to me today) and uploaded them to the AFU's website in a folder for magazines from Belgium. (As a new member, I can't post links here for another few days).
A few of the current scans (about 10) are slightly incomplete - I think Anakin preferred not to scan the pages with just advertisements on them. At least one issue is much more incomplete. I will address the latter as part of filling the gaps in the next few days...
The scans of "Inforespace" uploaded so far this week are listed at the link above. (The list is a bit long to post here).
If anyone or any group has any further scans of "Inforespace" they wish to share, that would be great. I can then seek to arrange for any remaining gaps to be filled by the AFU in Sweden.
So, a full set of Inforespace should be online within the next week or so.

Julien
@isaackoi , I sent you a message on FB. As usual, you are doing a heck of a job.

CERPI (France, 1976-1981) PDFs :
SCEAU has obtained permission from Madam Souris, widow of the president of the CERPI group (Claude Souris) to upload the CERPI bulletin.
Gilles Durand of SCEAU has also helpfully provided scans of all (?) 29 issues of that bulletin.
I have now uploaded searchable copies of those scans to the AFU's website in the usual folder for French magazines.
I have also received some other scans from Gilles Durand today and also had fruitful contacts with others in SCEAU in the last few days as well, particularly Jacques Scornaux, Laurent Chabin and Thierry Rocher. I anticipate that SCEAU and I will be working more closely during the next week. :)

"UFO Informations" (France, 1974-1983, AAMT):
Jacques Scornaux of SCEAU has helpfully obtained permission from Regine Duquenoy, the widow of David Duqueno of the "Association des Amis de Marc Thirouin" ("AAMT"), for me to upload scans of "UFO Informations". Another member of SCEAU, Gilles Durand, has promptly supplied scans of most issues of "UFO Informations".
I have rendered them searchable and uploaded them to AFU's folder for French magazines. (I still can't post links here yet...).
This collection is largely complete. Gilles has mentioned that Issue 1 (and possibly some special issues) are missing. I'm sure we can track down at least issue 1. :) Gilles has also mentioned that quality of the scans is "average" and that the source publication was printed using "Gestetner duplicate" which affects the quality.

"Groupe 5255" (France, 1980-1982) PDFs : Patrice Seray has obtained permission from Christine Zwygart for me to upload scans of "Groupe 5255".
Patrice has also scanned issues 1 to 4, which are now at the usual link for the AFU's growing collection of scanned French magazines. Patrice hopes to receive and scan the fifth (and final?) issue shortly.
I think copies are relatively rare, since the archives of the AFU and Barry Greenwood both lack several issues of this publication.
