@Guillaume84 Arf !

I hope that my previous posts had already made it clear, from the numerous reference to him, that Patrice Seray has been a very useful source of scans of French material (certainly in the top 4 sources - together with SCEAU, Peter El Baze and the AFU). Patrice has also been one of several French researchers that have helped me to get some of the relevant permissions. Patrice has also patiently answered various questions to give me some insight into the history and politics of French ufology - which appear to be almost as complicated as the divisions and politics of ufology here in the UK or in the USA. :)

@irvingquester Achtung !

LDLN, "Phenomena", "Contact Ufology", more Inforespace, and other additions
Sam 29 Sep 2018, 17:09
300 issues of LDLN (probably the best known French UFO magazine) are now online. :)
Jean Louis Lagneau has kindly given me his permission for issues 1 to 300 of LDLN to be uploaded to the AFU's website. (Jean Louis is the current publisher of LDLN and a 2016 publication).
I have now uploaded the AFU's scans of these 300 issues.
I have been a bit spoiled for choice in terms of scans. The AFU had scanned LDLN twice. Hundreds of issues have been scanned by each of Patrice Seray + SEAL, Peter EL Baze and Pierre Lagrange. I may have mentioned that I think that this would be a benefit of a reinforcement of the wheel. :)
(I can change some of the scans if there is a consensus as to which scans are the best ...).
My thanks to Jacques Scornaux of SCEAU, Edoardo Russo, and Jean Louis himself for providing information about the position in relation to LDLN over the years. I wanted to get permission to upload LDLN for 2 or 3 years, but had struggled to understand the position until a few days ago.

A pleasant surprise - a friend of Perry Petrakis (Bruno Bousquet) has heard from Perry Petrakis that Perry is happy for me to upload scans of "Phenomena". (I did not get any direct reply to my own emails)
I have received scans of an impressive 40 issues of "Phenomena" from Peter El Baze, which is overlapping with several scans by Patrice Seray. I think I am missing just issues 3, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 17, 18, 24, and 42.

If anyone already has scans of any of those missing issues that you could send me, I can promptly add them to the folder. If not, I will seek to get them scanned in the next week or so.
Gilles Durand of SCEAU has helpfully obtained the permission of Thierry Pinvidic for me to upload scans of " Ufology Contact " of SPEPSE (Paris) .
Gilles Durand has also published most issues of this publication (with the exceptions of issue 5 of the first series and one special issue).
I have uploaded the scans of "Ufology Contact" that I have received from here to the link below. I hope recevoir soon the rest of the scans done by Gilles and will Then upload Those ones to la même folder. I will, of course, then try to fill the gap.

29 of the missing issues of AFU and added the following link:

Raoul Robe has been given permission to upload scans of his newsletter "Reality or Fiction" ( France , 1970s-1980s) and provided scans of them.
I have uploaded searchable PDF versions of each issue provided by Raoul (which I think is a complete set) to the website of the AFU in Sweden at

Ouranos - New Series - No. 14 - 2nd Quarter 1975 (mq p 7 - 13 - 15)
Ouranos - New Series - No. 17 - 2nd Quarter 1976
Ouranos - New Series - No. 20 - 3rd trim 1977

I'd like to post a long item about French scanning work (existing and future) so think this would be as good time for me to start a new thread - particularly since my introductory post at the start of this thread was deleted by someone unknown to me and the moderators of this forum.
Which sub-forum should I post the new thread in? This sub-forum for introductions?
I just tried posting the item in the sub-forum entitled "Les Archives Ovni importantes" since that seems the most appropriate, but got an error message stating that only administrators can post in there.
I'll post the new thread later today in this sub-forum for introductions in the absence of any better ideas... :)
